Puffloon
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you play Puffloon, a game made by Tristan David, an independent developer in Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing Puffloon you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't play. If you got Puffloon from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
Using the game
We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Puffloon on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the game, or use it to build a competing product.
Pearls and purchases
Pearls are an in-game currency. You earn them by playing and can also buy them. Pearls and the items you unlock with them have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money and can't be transferred to another player. Pearl packs are used up when you buy them, and pearls are saved only on your device, so they're lost if you uninstall the game or change phones.
The Starter Pack and the Starlight skin are one-time purchases that can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account, using Restore purchases in Settings. Payment, billing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms. To request a refund, use your store account or the store's support process.
Advertising
Puffloon offers optional rewarded videos from third-party ad networks. You only see one when you choose to. How ads use your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Leaderboards
Scores may appear on leaderboards that other players can see, using your nickname from Apple Game Center or Google Play Games. Don't attempt to cheat, tamper with the game's data or interfere with other players' scores. We may remove scores or reset progress that we reasonably believe were obtained by cheating or tampering.
Our intellectual property
Puffloon, including its name, characters, artwork, sounds, code and game design, belongs to Tristan David or its licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to those, except the licence to play described above.
Changes and availability
We may update the game, add or remove features, or change these terms. If we change these terms in a significant way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We may also stop offering the game at any time. Continued play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
No warranty
Puffloon is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee that the game will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of Puffloon. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game is limited to the amount you paid for it, if anything.
Children
Puffloon is a general-audience game and isn't directed at children under 13. If you are under the age required to agree to these terms where you live, please have a parent or guardian review them with you, including before making purchases.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in Ontario have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
