Privacy Policy
Puffloon is a one-tap flying game made by Tristan David, an independent developer in Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. Puffloon has no accounts and we don't run our own servers, so we never receive your name, email address or game data.
Information that stays on your device
The game saves the following on your phone so it can work. We can't see any of it.
- Your best score, number of flights, pearls, unlocked and equipped skins, and medals.
- Your settings (sound, vibration and your personalized-ads choice), and when you last claimed the daily gift or free pearls.
- A record of one-time purchases (the Starter Pack and the Starlight skin), so they keep working offline.
Uninstalling Puffloon deletes this information. Purchased one-time items can be brought back with Restore purchases in Settings.
Services from Apple and Google
Puffloon uses features built into your phone's platform. When you use them, Apple or Google handles the information under their own privacy policies.
| Feature | What is shared | Handled by |
|---|---|---|
| Purchases | Payment is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. The game only receives confirmation of what you bought. | Apple, Google |
| Leaderboard | Your score and your Game Center or Play Games nickname, visible to other players on the leaderboard. | Apple Game Center, Google Play Games |
Advertising
Puffloon only shows rewarded videos that you choose to watch, for example to keep floating after you pop or to double your pearls. There are no banner or pop-up (interstitial) ads. These videos are served through Unity LevelPlay and the ad networks it works with (such as ironSource Ads and Unity Ads). To show and measure ads, these companies may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it
- device information such as model, operating system and language
- how you interact with ads
Your choices:
- On iOS, Puffloon asks before tracking, and ads are only personalized if you choose "Allow". You can change this any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- In the European Union and European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Puffloon asks before any ad loads whether you allow personalized ads. If you choose "Don't personalize", our ad partners are told not to personalize ads for you, and on iOS you won't be asked about tracking. You can change your answer any time in Settings › Personalized ads.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your phone's settings under Privacy › Ads (the exact menu varies by phone).
- You never have to watch an ad to play.

What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't use analytics or crash-reporting services of our own.
- We don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
Children
Puffloon is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the game doesn't ask for your age.
Your rights and deleting your data
- Uninstalling the game removes everything stored on your device.
- To delete ad-related data held by Unity, use the request options in Unity's privacy policy linked above.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA or California's CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Because we hold no personal information about you ourselves, most requests are handled through the services above, but we're happy to help.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's update notes.
